Introduction & Acceptance

KAMMO is a secure payment facilitation service operated in South Africa. By registering, messaging us on WhatsApp, or using any of our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

These Terms govern your use of the KAMMO platform, including all transactions, communications, and dispute processes. We reserve the right to update these terms with notice provided via WhatsApp or email.

Buying & Selling

KAMMO facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers but is not a party to the underlying sale. Both parties are responsible for accurately representing items and prices.

  • Sellers must ensure items are accurately described, legally owned, and available for immediate dispatch upon payment confirmation.
  • Buyers must make payment within the timeframe specified and inspect items within the 72-hour window after delivery.
  • KAMMO reserves the right to suspend accounts involved in fraudulent listings, misrepresentation, or prohibited items.
  • Prohibited items include illegal goods, weapons, counterfeit products, and anything prohibited under South African law.

Secure Payments & Payouts

All payments are processed via KAMMO's secure payment system. KAMMO holds funds in a protected account until deal conditions are met.

  • Payment links are valid for 24 hours from generation. Expired links require a new deal initiation.
  • Funds are released to the seller only upon buyer confirmation or after the 72-hour inspection window lapses without dispute.
  • KAMMO charges a platform fee per transaction, deducted from the seller payout. Fees are disclosed before deal confirmation.
  • Payouts are processed within 1–2 business days of deal completion, subject to banking clearance.
  • KAMMO is not liable for delays caused by banking institutions or payment processor downtime.

Deliveries

Delivery arrangements are agreed between buyers and sellers. KAMMO may facilitate coordination but is not a courier service and accepts no liability for physical delivery outcomes.

  • Sellers must provide tracking information within 24 hours of payment confirmation, where applicable.
  • Buyers have a 72-hour inspection window from confirmed delivery to raise concerns. After this, funds automatically release to the seller.
  • Items damaged in transit should be reported within the inspection window with photographic evidence via WhatsApp.

Disputes

KAMMO provides a fair dispute resolution service. Disputes must be raised within the 72-hour inspection window after delivery confirmation.

  • To raise a dispute, message KAMMO on WhatsApp with the word DISPUTE followed by your deal ID (e.g. #KM-4821).
  • Both parties will be asked to provide supporting evidence (photos, communications, receipts) within 48 hours.
  • KAMMO's resolution team will review all evidence and issue a binding decision within 5 business days.
  • Funds remain protected during the dispute period. KAMMO's decision is final. In cases of fraud, KAMMO reserves the right to involve law enforcement.

Privacy & Data (POPIA)

KAMMO processes personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We collect only what is necessary to facilitate transactions, verify identity, and prevent fraud.

  • Your data is never sold to third parties. We share only what is necessary with our payment partners for payment processing.
  • WhatsApp conversations may be retained for dispute resolution and compliance purposes.
  • You have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@kammo.co.za.

Liability & Limitation

KAMMO is a payment facilitation platform and is not responsible for the quality, legality, or description of items transacted between users. Our liability is limited to the value of funds held on platform at the time of any claim.
